I recently discoverd one that hitched a ride on a patch of grass i purchased along with a few eggs which is good because the bladder snails in my other tanks have laying eggs like crazy. One question I have is if they will still lay eggs even if they arent aren't fertilized by another assassin? Thanks again for the vid

I have assassins. I have learned that they can breed with almost any snail they choose to. So what mine was doing was, she was breeding with the bladder snails and laying eggs so then she could eat the babies. It was so gruesome, but also so raw and natural. Assassins gave me a new respect for snails.

How is it possible that a name brand heater like this doesn't have an internal thermostat? Even the cheapo walmart ones you can't adjust have an internal thermostat so it knows when to switch on and off. Wish I'd known it was crap before I bought one for a 3 gallon I'm going to put my brine shrimp in.

Would you recommend Malaysian driftwood for a crayfish set up, do you know if the tanics affect crayfish or is it beneficial like in fish?

I got a Beta last week and he's a beautiful half moon.. looks almost like yours. He's a happy fish in his 3 gallon tank with filter, which was around 40 bucks for the whole kit. He loves bug bites and flakes, but hates the other food. He goes bonkers for the bug bites.. he's smart and knows where his feeding spot is. And he "watches" TV.. 😁

Any one know anything about a betta fish just floating at the top? his eyes are moving, but he kinda twitches or when he floats away from the spot he was just in he swims back to the spot. He hasn't swam to the bottom of the tank either. I just got him. I really hope he isnt passing): I did acclimate him. I'm not sure what's going on. He is also moving his eyes. Please help

I just bought it today and it’s been plugged in and in the tank for about 2 hours. The temp has only got up slightly, but maybe that’s because I used cooler water? How long does it usually take to get to the said temp?

A Border Collie is the dog lovers dog, there is just nothing they can't learn. And their love and loyalty towards their person ( they usually bond strongly to one person but that doesn't mean they don't love the rest of their family ) is just 100% unquestionable. Not a breed for people who can't or won't provide the physical and mental stimulation they absolutely require. I divide it into walks in the countryside, fetch and walks around neighbourhoods where there's lots of scents of other dogs to process. I always do it off leash because my boy is so obedient. I hate seeing a Border being walked on a leash, I just don't see how that satisfies any of their needs.

Driving to Mojave today for camping. I always bring back rocks and cholla for my aquariums. That cactus is no joke though.
